Buck is kidnapped and taken to the planet Zantia, where he is put up for auction as a male slave. After being bought by Ariela Dyne, daughter of the planet's Prime Minister, Buck is then taken back to her household and put to work. He soon learns from Ariela that the entire male population of Zantia has been captured by an alien race called the Ruathans, and are now being held as prisoners of war. Buck agrees to help free the men from their incarceration; however, the rescue attempt will involve his sneaking aboard the Ruathan ambassador’s spaceship, which is currently in orbit around Earth - and if anything goes wrong with Buck’s rescue attempt, it could spark off a war between Ruathan and Earth…
